Online platform connects companies in the cosmetics industry

THE Chamber of Cosmetics Industry of the Philippines (CCIP) will launch a business-to-business (B2B) online platform where it can showcase its products and services in the local market to generate new leads and expand its customer base.

According to Pamela Mariel Manzana, CCIP’s Vice President of Special Projects, their platform called “CCIP Connect” will help its members connect and connect in the digital space amid the pandemic.

“For our first CCIP Connect on July 1, 2022, ten of our members will showcase their products and services, from product development to finished goods,” she said during a webinar.

Manzana said each of the company’s 10 exhibitors will have their own zoom breakout room, and the company’s presentations are pre-recorded and played in the lobby.

She added that the online B2B forum via Zoom is open to the public interested in the beauty and personal care industry, business expansion and partnership opportunities.

Manzana then noted that pre-registration is required and attendees can choose to join a breakout room while the Special Projects Committee assigns the schedule.

For context, the CCIP is a non-profit organization bringing together distributors, traders, manufacturers, suppliers of raw materials, suppliers of packaging, labeling and equipment, and related services of the cosmetics industry.
