D2C Ecommerce, a local multi-brand e-commerce platform, has announced the acquisition of Mumbai-based jewelry brand AccessHer.
Last week the e-commerce platform launched in India and raised Rs 6 crore funding and today the platform announced the acquisition of the jewelry brand as it seeks to expand its presence in the jewelry space by investing in new-age brands, emerging and expanding categories in global markets, according to the official statement.
“The acquisition is the result of a carefully thought out strategy and synergy between the two brands,” commented Manish Gupta, CEO and Founder of D2C Ecommerce. “This partnership gives us the opportunity to enter a new and growing jewelry category and will help us scale the business to new heights by leveraging our existing capabilities.”
AccessHer was created in 2018 by husband-wife duo Gaurav Babel & Reena Jain. The brand has around 2000 products listed on various marketplaces – Amazon and Flipkart.
